Hüttegg Weerberg ski lift

Our start to the Hüttegg ski lift on Weerberg
It was a cold morning, but blue skies - my wife, I and our two girls (3 and 5 years old) set off. As we set off to... Hüttegg Weerberg and drove further and further up, the sun finally rose. The road is quite winding, but from Weer you can reach the top in 10 minutes. The ski area is small, but very nice and, above all, very affordable in contrast to the larger ski areas.

A panorama straight out of a picture book
As soon as we reached Hüttegg Weerberg, we were greeted by a scenery that put any postcard motif to shame. The Karwendel Mountains in all their splendor, the expansive Inn Valley and even the silhouette of Innsbruck in the distance - it was as if we had entered a magical winter fairy tale. At that moment we knew that this wasn't just a full day Ski fun but also a real experience in the middle of nature.

The Hüttegg Weerberg ski lift

A lift that creates experiences
The Hüttegg Weerberg ski lift is an older but charming one T-bar lift which our 5-year-old daughter can also ride easily. With its considerable length of 1460 meters, it is already quite finished after 4 rides. But the slope is also very long. During our journey from 1250 to 1500 meters above sea level, a great panorama opened up in front of us, and we also went through the idyllic forest again and again, which the children thought was really great. The views of the snowy peaks and valleys were simply breathtaking.

Safety and comfort come first
The ski lift staff was another positive aspect of our ski adventure. With their professional and child-friendly manner, they ensured that our family felt safe and in good hands at all times. Your competent Support made getting into the lift an easy and fear-free experience, especially for our youngest.

The slope

The heart of our ski adventure on the Hüttegg Weerberg ski lift was without a doubt the great blue slope. Not only was it long and therefore offered a lot of variety, but it was also extremely beautiful. Her gentle inclinations are perfect for children to learn. Since it is very long, it is also good to take a break in the middle and look at the landscape.

Fun and challenging: jumping hills and forest paths
The lovingly designed jumping hills along the slopes were particularly exciting for our two girls. They offered an exciting challenge and the opportunity to practice small jumps. There were also sections that led easily through the forest, which was a special experience - the feeling of gliding through a winter forest was simply incomparable.

Something for everyone
One of the great features of the slope was that it was suitable for both beginner and intermediate skiers. While the children were able to develop their skills on the gentler sections, there were enough challenges and opportunities for the more experienced skiers among us to refine our technique.

The small but nice children's area

A very special jewel of Hüttegg Weerberg is the Kinderland, a specially designed area that is perfect for our youngest ski enthusiasts. It was here Sun Kid conveyor belt at the center, a fantastic facility for beginner toddlers taking their first steps in the snow.

Hüttegg ski lift children's area

Our little one, aged 3, learned to drive a plow within 3 days and even made her first turns. On the 4th day everything went very safely and I took her between my legs on the blue slope. There she was able to ride the flat areas easily on her own. Of course she had a lot of fun.

Learn to ski safely and playfully
The conveyor belt in the children's area at the Hüttegg ski lift offers the ideal setting for your first skiing experiences. It enables the little ones to get involved in the snow slowly and safely and playfully Basics of skiing to learn. The flat, uncluttered area around the band gives parents the opportunity to watch and cheer on their children up close. The Hütteg Gasthaus is right next door, so a cocoa is just a few steps away.

The Hüttegg Inn

An integral part of our skiing experience was the visit to the Hüttegg Gasthaus, located directly at the valley station of the Hüttegg Weerberg ski lift. This welcoming inn not only offered us a warming break from skiing, but also culinary delights that pleased every palate. On the terrace you have this brilliant panorama of the Karwendel and Inn Valley again!

Regional specialties and a warm atmosphere
At the Hüttegg Gasthaus we were treated to a selection of traditional, Tyrolean dishes and modern dishes. The cozy atmosphere of the inn, combined with the friendly service, made our meals relaxing and enjoyable experiences. It was the perfect place to recharge your batteries and share the day's experiences.
